Cat Accommodations

Even while boarding, the fun never stops! Kitties love our spacious play area!

AAP is the only cat boarding facility on Hilton Head to offer each special kitty their own spacious cat townhouse. Each space has a comfy bed, cat tree and litter box area. The townhouses are multi-level with vertical and horizontal passages for active, climbing cat guests. The cat area overlooks our retail store, providing the cats with lots of interaction and entertainment throughout the day. 


Separation from their best (human) friend and new surroundings may cause anxiety for some guests. AAP’s cat accommodations are located on the opposite end of the building, away from the dogs to buffer excessive noise, ensuring a peaceful “safe-haven” and personal space for each cat guest.  We also use Feliway diffusers to help create a calming and low-stress environment for your special kitty. 


Cats are monitored multiple times throughout the day even when our store is closed. The townhouses are cleaned twice daily to ensure the safety and comfort of your cat.

Meals

We recommend that owners bring their cat’s preferred food from home. We also have a selection of dry, canned and raw cat food available for purchase in our store.


Medication

Our professional caregivers are experienced in administering medication per your instructions. There is an additional fee for hand-pilling, injections and fractious cats. We reserve the right to charge accordingly at our discretion.


RATE:
$51/night and $26 for each additional cat sharing the same room. 

Check In & Check Out

Standard Check-In Time: After 2:00pm

Early check-in fee: $15/first cat ($10/each additional cat)


​Standard Check-Out Time: Before 11:00am

​Late check-out fee: $15/first cat ($10/each additional cat)

Pickup & drop-off after business hours may be arranged for an additional fee. 

CANCELATION POLICY

When making a reservation we require a valid credit card number. While we do not require a deposit at the time of booking, your card on file will be charged automatically under the following conditions:

  • Less than 48-hours' cancellation notice (Boarding): Cost of 1 night stay
  • No-show: charged for FULL LENGTH of reservation

Business Hours
Monday – Friday: 8AM – 5:30PM
Saturday & Sunday: 8AM - 4PM

 We provide fleece blankets for each guest. You may bring a blanket for your pet, but we ask that you please leave beds at home. We provide stainless steel bowls that are sanitized in between  use, so please do not bring yours from home. We do not recommend bringing any toys or chews that could potentially be a hazard for your pet when left alone. Please don't bring your pet's most-favorite toys etc. While we do our best to maintain accurate inventory of each guest, items may get misplaced.

Report Cards
Each day you will receive a report card via email.  This report includes photos and videos, specifics for feedings, medication, and playtime.

For Your Pet’s Safety
AAP is located directly across the hall from Heritage Animal Hospital. Should your pet need emergency care, their staff is on call 24 hours a day.

Required Vaccines
All pet guests must have current vaccination records (no exceptions), and be on a heartworm, and flea and tick prevention program. If no records are received prior to arrival AAP reserves the right to cancel your reservation for the safety of our other guests. 

Cats: FVRCP & Rabies - All cats must be FeLV/FIV Negative

Reservations
All Boarding and Daycare is by reservation only. Make your reservations as far in advance as possible. Holidays and weekends fill up quickly. We reserve the right to require a minimum night stay during peak periods. Please call or email for current available dates. Please note that because we are a small facility, we give preference to boarding reservations. We also reserve the right to give preference to multi-dog and extended stay reservations, especially during holidays and peak times.


For the health and safety of all of our guests, we also reserve the right to deny admission to pets with expired or missing vaccinations, female pets who are in heat, pets displaying signs of untreated or potentially contagious diseases, fleas, ticks, or other parasites, and/or aggressive or other undesirable behavior. Please note that All About Pets reserves the right to charge for any damage to our property by your pet.
